Welcome to Rosanna Cub Scouts! - We're part of Rosanna Scout Group, in Banyule District, Yarra Valley Region, Victoria
- part of Scouts Australia and primarily serving the suburbs of Rosanna and Heidelberg.
We're Cub Scouts and that means we're here to have some serious fun - outdoors and in - and we even learn something along the way!

Where is Rosanna? If you know North-Eastern Melbourne, Victoria - Ivanhoe, Macleod, Viewbank, Eaglemont, Bellfield, Bulleen, Yallambie, Diamond Valley (Watsonia, Greensborough etc.), Bundoora, Kingsbury or Heidelberg - we're in the middle - along the railway line between Macleod and Heidelberg!  30th June, 2009: Photos, Akelablog, Badge of the Month and Jungle Story of the Month:
- We invested 10 Cubs and a Leader (Rama) in a 6 week period recently, plus sent two Cubs up to Scouts. See the 14 new photos on our 'building our Cub Pack' page.
- Plenty of activities happening lately - Check out the 16 new photos on our photos page.
- There's also a brand new Akelablog!

- Leading on from last month, our second Jungle story of the month is Kaa's Hunting.
17th May, 2009: Our next Badge of the Month, Akelablog and introducing Jungle Story of the Month!:

- Cub Scouts is themed on The Jungle Book. We have it on our site, so we thought why not highlight a Jungle story of the month? This month we're starting off with the first Jungle story, which happens to be the main one for Cub Scouts - Mowgli's Brothers.
7th May, 2009: Over 10,000 Visitors from 100 Countries: In fact, with 1,122 visits to our site in April, we hit 10,000 visitors and went on to 11,097. At the same time, the number of countries and territories from which people have visited our website went through the 100 mark to 101. Check it out at "Our website".
2nd May, 2009: Changes for our Scout Troop: New Leader, New location (home at ROSANNA!) and new time! See the note here or on our Reports and Notices page for 6th May.
15th Apr, 2009: Term 2 Program: Term 2's Program is now on the Program Page.
10th Apr, 2009: NEW PHOTOS and Akelablog!:
- We've finished off our 2008 photos with some from our Christmas Breakup and moved them all to a "Photos of 2008" page. Click here to see them.

4th June, 2008: Updated Search, Program changes, AkelaBlog and Badge of the Month!
4th May, 2008: Major updates to Baloo's Badge Page! A large number of changes have now been made on Baloo's Badge Page.
- Bronze, Silver and Gold Boomerang badge requirements are now available. These can be viewed: all at once on one page; on an individual page for each Boomerang or; by Test (e.g. Test 4 - Outdoor Scouting for Bronze, Silver and Gold).
- Grey Wolf Award - there's now a page fully detailing how to earn this Award - the highest one for Cub Scouts.
- Added a page for the yearly Service Awards - many of our Cubs are coming up for their first one over the next few months.
- In addition to "Lester Literate", we've added pages for the other less-common badges - Camp Out Badge, Dolphin Award and the Walkabout Scout Award
- We've also added a page fully detailing the Scout Link Badge, which some Cubs will very soon be starting
- and of course, a new Badge of the Month - Citizenship!
19th Apr, 2008: New photo - Another Milestone! It takes around a year from when they're invested for a Cub to earn their first Boomerang Badge See our "Road to Building our New Cub Pack" Photos Page for a photo of our first 9 Cubs to be presented with Boomerangs... 5 Bronze, 3 Silver and 1 Gold!

A year ago, we started off with two Leaders and 4 'New Chums' trying out Cubs for the first time. Now, we're well and truly up and running! Thanks for coming along for the ride!
