23rd January, 2010: Akelablog, Photos, Badge of the Month, Jungle Story of the Month and "Who has been looking at our site?":

• It's been a long time, so it's well and truly time for a new Akelablog!
  
• You'll find 7 new photos to finish off our Photos of 2009 album.
  
• ..plus 4 new photos of Investitures etc. on our Building our Cub Pack in 2009 album - including our first ever Grey Wolf Award recipient!
  
• This month's Badge of the month is International Culture. See the details on the Badge page and give it a go.

• It's been around 6 months since we've updated the "what countries our website visitors come from" section - so there's now 16 new countries and territories there.
  

3rd December, 2009: Launch of our new Photo Album, plus tons of new photos!

• We thought it was time to provide a better way of looking at our Cub photos, plus simplifying the upload so you get photos faster! We've incorporated new 'Gallery 2' software that keeps the same sets of photos (now in albums), but allows you to choose what size photo you want to look at and/or download. PLUS, we've caught up and put in 77 new photos!. See our new Photo Gallery now.

• We invested 10 Cubs and a Leader (Rama) in a 6 week period recently, plus sent two Cubs up to Scouts. See the 14 new photos on our 'building our Cub Pack' page.

17th May, 2009: Our next Badge of the Month, Akelablog and introducing Jungle Story of the Month!:

• Cub Scouts is themed on The Jungle Book. We have it on our site, so we thought why not highlight a Jungle story of the month? This month we're starting off with the first Jungle story, which happens to be the main one for Cub Scouts - Mowgli's Brothers.
  

7th May, 2009: Over 10,000 Visitors from 100 Countries: In fact, with 1,122 visits to our site in April, we hit 10,000 visitors and went on to 11,097. At the same time, the number of countries and territories from which people have visited our website went through the 100 mark to 101. Check it out at "Our website"

• We've finished off our 2008 photos with some from our Christmas Breakup and moved them all to a "Photos of 2008" page.

4th May, 2008: Major updates to Baloo's Badge Page! A large number of changes have now been made on Baloo's Badge Page.

• Bronze, Silver and Gold Boomerang badge requirements are now available. These can be viewed: all at once on one page; on an individual page for each Boomerang or; by Test (e.g. Test 4 - Outdoor Scouting for Bronze, Silver and Gold).
  
• Grey Wolf Award - there's now a page fully detailing how to earn this Award - the highest one for Cub Scouts.
  
• Added a page for the yearly Service Awards - many of our Cubs are coming up for their first one over the next few months.
  
• In addition to "Lester Literate", we've added pages for the other less-common badges - Camp Out Badge, Dolphin Award and the Walkabout Scout Award
  
• We've also added a page fully detailing the Scout Link Badge, which some Cubs will very soon be starting
  
• and of course, a new Badge of the Month - Citizenship!

19th Apr, 2008: New photo - Another Milestone! It takes around a year from when they're invested for a Cub to earn their first Boomerang Badge See our "Road to Building our New Cub Pack" Photos Page for a photo of our first 9 Cubs to be presented with Boomerangs... 5 Bronze, 3 Silver and 1 Gold!

13th March, 2007: Rosanna Cub Scouts has Launched!
Rosanna Cubs - an all new Pack for Banyule District - has started! Our new prospective Cubs have enjoyed their first night with games, tracking and learning about some badges. Our Leaders - Akela and Chil - have been presented with their newly designed Rosanna Scout Group scarves. If you're interested and you're a boy or girl aged around 8-9, we've got room for some more... go to our "About Us" page to find out how.

2007: Welcome to the start of Rosanna Cub Scouts in the Centenary Year of Scouting!
Our brand new Cub Pack starts operating on Tuesday March 13th..... be there to start something special - a new Cub Pack in the Centenary Year of Scouting!
