These are the major activities coming up for Rosanna Cubs.
| We have a First Aid Camp each year for older Cubs - Learn tons of First Aid, and take a test to earn your Level 2 First Aid Badge. This year's Camp will be in June at Camp Warringal. |
| Annual Camp, which goes by all sorts of names, but I'll call it 'Gold' Camp for the moment! It's for Cubs in their last year before going up to Scouts (when you're working on your Gold Boomerang). You'll do lots of activities that are a bit more challenging, including Leadership stuff to try you out. The Camp helps towards earning the Grey Wolf Badge and gets you more prepared for the move up into Scouts. |

Jamboree of the Air (JOTA) - 20th October at Clifford Park We go along and talk on Ham Radio with Cubs and Scouts from around Australia and around the World! |
| This year we're looking forward to our first Pack Holiday - we'll go away for a weekend, have a special theme and have tons of fun! |
....and there'll be more to come... this is just a taste!
....And of course, as part of Cubs, there's plenty of other Major Activities happening on an ongoing basis, such as:
Cuboree is held every 3 years at Gilwell Park, Gembrook. Cuboree 2008 "A World of Wonders" had approx. 3,000 Cubs and 1,300 Leaders for 5 days from March 31 to April 4, 2008. Cubs sleep in tents and take part in a huge number of activities throughout the stay. Every Cub should try to get to Cuboree - it's great fun and good preparation for the major Scout activity - Jamboree!

Big Camp - Camp Warringal
Our major Cub activity in 2004 and 2007 (and again in 2010?). Over 4 days (Sat-Tue) on Melbourne Cup Weekend, we take part in Big Camp. Hopefully held every 3 years, this camp is huge! We be camping in tents, alongside Cubs from throughout our District and a number of other Districts - somewhere around 200-300 Cubs! We'll do tons of fun stuff like canoeing, horseriding, toboggans, bush skateboards, billycarts and tons more, so stay tuned to see if it's back in 2010! |
| District Camp is held every couple of years - like a Pack Holiday, but bigger! All the District gets together for plenty of activities over a weekend. |
- and that's just a few... we're always off doing something, somewhere, so be prepared for plenty of fun!

So, what if I'm about to go up to Scouts?....
| While Cubs have Cuboree, when you go up to Scouts, the big thing to look forward to there is Jamboree! Held each 3 years for Scouts from all over Australia and the world, this goes for around 2 weeks and is much bigger than even Cuboree!
