In the Jungle Book, Baloo was the teacher of the Wolf cubs. At Cubs we can earn badges while we learn, develop skills and have fun!
So, here's Baloo's badge page!
| "So Baloo, the Teacher of the Law, taught him the Wood and Water Laws: how to tell a rotten branch from a sound one; how to speak politely to the wild bees when he came upon a hive of them fifty feet above ground; what to say to Mang the Bat when he disturbed him in the branches at midday; and how to warn the water-snakes in the pools before he splashed down among them."

You can earn as many of these badges as you like.. decide whether you want to do Level 1 or 2, find someone who knows enough about the subject to test you (preferably not Mum or Dad), ask them nicely to test you, and then get them to write a note to Akela after you've been tested - describing how you've passed the test.
These Achievement Badges can also be found on pages 61-145 of your yellow Australian Cub Scout Record Book.

These Special Interest Badges can also be found on pages 146-157 of your yellow Australian Cub Scout Record Book.
